Visual Arts
Visual arts is the exploration of multiple medias and techniques to create aesthetically pleasing 3-D and 2-D artworks. The students learn how to manipulate materials such as paint, clay, wood, plaster, paper maché, and more with consideration of the work ability, durability, cost, and toxicity of the media used, in order to improve mark making and build 3-D artworks. These artworks focus on demonstrating the elements and principles of design, while incorporating the artist personal connection to each piece.

Art Club
Art club is involved with many fundraising events and community projects each year. These are just a few of those projects.
3-D Studio and Ceramics Classes
The 3-D art students are selected for different art shows or displays throughout the year. The advanced students also participate in at least one community event each year. This year was the Empty Bowls fundraising event. My 3-D studio 2, Ceramics 2 and Ceramics 3H students provided 65 bowls to the event.
